Research Scientist in Machine Learning and AI with a focus on Bayesian Deep Learning, Bayesian optimisation, multi-sensor systems and Computer Vision, currently leading research into applications for ML at Sonos. I’ve been involved in research developing and applying AI techniques across a range of domains including Musical Interfaces, Audio DSP, Computer Vision, Uncertainty Quantification in ML, Speech Processing, and Materials Discovery.
Lead author of Enhancing Deep Learning with Bayesian Inference and co-author of Deep Learning for Physical Scientists.
Musician and composer, writing/recording music for Post-Rock band Din of Celestial Birds and Post/Prog project A Shelter from the Bright Lights.
